On Sunday 16th March, Jameson Irish Whiskey will be taking St. Patrick’s Day celebrations to a new exciting level with a live music and cultural festival that Sydney has never seen before. ‘St. Patrick’s Live’ is coming to Australia as part of a global celebration and is set to be the ‘must attend’ event in March.

A festival line up, hand picked by Jameson that taps into some of Australia’s best live music, promising all guests a St. Patrick’s Day celebration like no other. Jameson announced the following line-up today:

HOST – Shantan Wantan Ichiban

3:30pm-4:15pm – Furnace and The Fundamentals

4:45pm-5:45PM – Thundamentals

6:15PM-7:45PM – Hot Dub Time Machine

8:00PM-9:00PM – Yolanda Be Cool

From the rock n’ roll sounds of Furnace and the Fundamentals, the sensory mash of Hot Dub Time Machine, the urban hip-hop beats of Thundamentals and the chart-topping dance duo Yolanda Be Cool, ‘St. Patrick’s is promising Sydney an unbeatable music and cultural experience to celebrate the Irish holiday with the ultimate Sunday session.

‘St. Patrick’s Live’ will also be showcasing Sydney’s coolest fashion and craft markets including Jameson inspired one-off candles by Pigeon & Weasel, Birichino Bikes and hand-made cutlery jewellery by The Dining Dead. A selection of Jameson drinks and delicious food will perfectly compliment the event, capturing the street party atmosphere of an authentic live St. Patrick’s Day celebration.

‘St. Patrick’s Live’ is a global Jameson initiative and 2014 will be the first time it is held in the Asia-Pacific. During the celebrations, Jameson will once again host a series of ‘St Patrick’s Live’ parties around the world. As well as the hometown party in Dublin, Jameson will take the St. Patrick’s celebrations to cities from Prague to Buenos Aires and Mumbai to Stockholm. The celebrations will see Jameson take over streets and venues giving locals a taste of Dublin in their own cities.
