First DJ campaign for Whybin\TBWA and Maud

David Jones’ new campaign by Whybin\TBWA and Maud sees the first lot of marketing from the agency since it won the company from M&C Saatchi in July last year.

Featuring ambassdor Jessica Gomes as the primary model, the 60 second TVC for the Autumn/Winter campaign demonstrates layers of Gomes walking through the woods as though on a catwalk, making it seem as if many models are following her down the path.

“Autumn wants to see you dress up. The Clocks are turning back. The nights are starting sooner. All the leaves are starting to blush. The temperature is falling and there’s a chill in the air. It’s time to start wearing more. Embrace our new season collections,” said David Jones.

The Autumn/Winter campaign from David Jones sees a global assortment of talent with director Clemens Habicht, Max Doyle and Derek Henderson as photographers and UK-based set designer, Rhea Thierstein.

Featuring The Presets’ tune ‘Ghosts’ as the soundtrack, the campaign will be seen across a wide variety of platforms, including TV, digital, outdoor, catalogues and in-store.

Through the war of advertising on the internet, David Jones’ Christmas campaign, which was developed from New York, was all about ‘Christmas gifts that wow’ with an explosion of a Christmas cracker, competing with Myer’s ‘Power of Give’ Christmas campaign.
