BIG W appoints Rhubarb&Custard for new retail project

After a competitive four-way pitch, Big W decided to award part of its business to the retail and digital agency, Rhubarb&Custard.

Rhubarb&Custard will deliver retail and digital creative services to help lift the brand's fashion credentials over the next 12 months.

GM of marketing for Big W, Alison Jones, said they were excited by the new appointment and looked forward to big things in 2014.

"We were impressed with the work the Rhubarb&Custard team presented, and we look forward to working with them to achieve our goals."

Although a young agency, Rhubarb&Custard have been working with leading Australian and International brands.

“It’s been an amazing end to the year for Rhubarb&Custard, and we couldn’t be more excited to be working with the BIG W team,” Chris James, co-founder of Rhubarb&Custard, said.

"Our guys have worked exceptionally hard and we're over the moon to be working with another iconic Australian brand and the country's largest discount department store". ­

The appointment is effective immediately.
