Goddess investment pays off for FSM

Goddess, the new Australian film funded significantly by post-production house FSM, ranked fourth in the top 20 grossing films of last week raking in over $500,000.

All post-production, VFX, titles and digital intermediate were managed by FSM, with FSM MD Steve Dunn acting as one of the film's executive producers.

The funding was the largest investment FSM has ever made in a feature film.

Dunn said: ”It’s no longer unusual to be an investor, creative contributor and facilities provider. On many levels it gives us a greater ownership and passion for the projects we’re invited to be part of.”

Goddess stars Ronan Keating, Laura Michelle Kelly and Magda Szubanski and features 15 original songs. The film was shot in Sydney and Tasmania, and was directed by Mark Lamprell and produced by Richard Keddie.
