Woman's Day jumps first with royal baby special

The first in what is set to be a flood of royal baby special edition magazines is due to hit the shelves with Bauer’s Woman’s Day rushing out a “bumper” edition early.

The top-selling weekly magazine is coming out this Friday, December 7, and will feature an “in-depth guide for fans of the royal family”, with 16-oages dedicated to Prince William and Kate’s unborn heir to the throne.

Editor Fiona Connolly said: “Our readers have always been avid and loyal fans of the royal family especially during the days of Princess Diana.

“The wedding of Kate and Wills reignited this passion and once again they’ve become a hot topic. The demand for any stories related to the couple, especially Kate, is incredible. And with this very happy news, the readers are simply thrilled.

“Within moments of the announcement, I mobilized the team and we worked around the clock with Woman's Day's leading London contacts such as our royal correspondent Judy Wade to make sure we deliver the coverage our readers deserve.”
