303Lowe hires CD with a focus on digital connectivity

303Lowe has hired Phil Watson as its new creative director of digital, direct and activation from integrated agency Momentum.

Watson’s appointment comes two weeks after 303Lowe announced its executive creative director, Simon Langley, was leaving the agency.

Nick Cleaver (pictured), chief executive officer of 303Lowe, said Watson will be a “perfect addition to our team as he thinks in terms of integrated ideas and activation”.

“We have had significant success in growing our interactive capabilities and see Phil’s arrival as another significant step in our growing capability,” Cleaver said.

“His integrated, digital and direct experience will be applied across our entire client base.”

Watson will join the agency in the new year and has worked with clients including Heineken, Boags, Tooheys and Amex.

Watson added: “I really like what the guys are doing at 303Lowe and how they’ve successfully developed an integrated digital offering within the agency. It means we can genuinely offer clients interactive ideas and campaigns with a significant digital connectivity.”
