Wednesday TV Wrap: Tom Gleeson Proves To Be TV Gold, As Hard Quiz Tops Entertainment

ABC won entertainment last night and hopefully, Ita Clare Buttrose is having a glass of wine to celebrate or a bottle!

ABC’s Hard Quiz took the entertainment crown – perhaps proving winning a golden Logie is a career boost – with 647,000 viewers.

Next in entertainment was ABC’s Gruen with 577,000, now that Will Anderson is a silver fox, it’s pretty clear he is Australia’s answer to Anderson Cooper!

Meanwhile, Seven’s Home And Away had 553,000 viewers as per OzTAM’s metro data.

On top overall was Seven News with 918,000 viewers, followed by Nine News with 868,000 viewers, and Nine’s A Current Affair with 660,000 – proving that Tracey Grimshaw is still queen!

Ten’s Gogglebox hit 503,000 and The Project hit 368,000 – No surprises but as always Jan Fran’s wardrobe was incredible.

Seven’s The Chase snagged 474,000 viewers and Big Brother VIP earned 310,000 viewers – Honestly, Imogen Anthony deserves her own spin off.

Nine’s Parental Guidance hit 517,000 viewers and Hot Seat hit 422,000, Tipping Point came in last with 290,000.

Meanwhile, ABC continued to hold strong pulling in 517,000 viewers for 7.30.

Thrillingly, the tie was broken between the Seven Network and the Nine Network. The Nine Network won with a 28.0. per cent of the daily share. Meanwhile, the Seven Network wasn’t far behind with a 26.4 per cent share.

Coming in third was Network Ten with a 19.4 per cent of the share, followed by ABC Network with 17.8 per cent and SBS Network with 8.4 per cent.

Looking now to OzTAM’s total tv report for Wednesday, November 3nd, the top-performing program was Seven News with a total audience of 1,678,000 viewers (metro: 1,036,000 regional: 592,000, BVOD: 39,000).
