The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about changes that may have eroded away communities and relationships formed within the office. This time has heightened awareness that total wellbeing, not just physical health, is key to business success.

July 3 marks the inaugural Bambuddha Corporate Kindness Conference & Awards, which will play host to some of the world’s greatest leaders as speakers, renowned for kindness, reconciliation and inclusivity.

Bambuddha founder and CEO, Anna Sheppard said Bambuddha was born with the idea to set up a company with a clear vision for social and environmental change. Leading the charge, Sheppard has known from a young age that kindness is the key to success in this world. Her motto in life is “If you work as hard as you do kind, success is inevitable.”

Bambuddha says it is important to highlight leaders and businesses that have made positive changes during this unprecedented time, addressing the importance of employee wellbeing, committed to supporting sustainable business practices and contributed to the wider community.

Dedicated to nurturing leaders who are passionate about making positive social impacts, Bambuddha Group advocates for the importance of spreading kindness to build better businesses and cultivate better work environments as well as being kind to the planet in line with the UN Sustainability Goals.

The Corporate Kindness Conference and Awards were created to honour those in their community who foster ethical change and sustainability. The award appreciates leaders and businesses who are working kind and are at the forefront of innovation and CSR in one of four categories: People and Culture, Community, Environment and Customers. Each award category will be judged by a panel of kind industry experts who will judge based on the key ideas of originality, impact and kindness factor.
