tide.pr Appointed Agency Of Choice By New Zealand Trade & Enterprise

Following a competitive tender process in March, tide.pr, a Hardie Grant-backed agency, is thrilled to announce its appointment as agency of choice by New Zealand Trade & Enterprise.

tide.pr has successfully launched the PR campaign for Discover New at Chadstone Shopping Centre this month.

Discover New is an initiative by New Zealand Trade & Enterprise to bring the country’s leading design to Australian shores this May, just in time for the Trans-Tasman bubble.

tide.pr invited select media to an intimate dinner and store preview to launch the impressive activation. The evening featured an address from key New Zealand dignitaries, including High Commissioner Dame Annette King and Trade Commissioner Vanessa O’Neill, as well as top designers Karen Walker and Yu Mei’s Jessie Wong.

Running May 6-23, Discover New showcases the deeply cool, considered and edgy design that New Zealanders bring to the world. The collective talents on show cement New Zealand’s reputation as a design centre with ingenuity on a global stage.

“Discover New gives Australians the chance to ‘discover’ and experience New Zealand brands in a unique setting,” said NZTE Trade Commissioner, Vanessa O’Neill.

“The country has a rich design culture that rivals the best in the world. We are thrilled to partner with tide.pr to tell the story of New Zealand’s most visionary and iconic creatives.”

The Discover New account was led by tide.pr Director Stacey McArdle and Account Director Tess Fisher. “We were thrilled to have the opportunity to shine light on such innovative New Zealand designers and have thoroughly enjoyed working with the team at NZTE to bring this concept to life,” said Director, Stacey McArdle.

The agency, as part of the Hardie Grant Media network, provides PR, influencer and social media services in Sydney and Melbourne.
