Burger King Tells Customers To Order From McDonald’s

As Australia is coming out of lockdown, many parts of Europe are heading back in.

Sadly, that includes France as COVID cases again spike to worrying levels.

So, Burger King France has decided to launch a new campaign to show its support to the (fast or not) food service industry, highly impacted by the second lockdown that has been established in the country last week.

A print ad has been published in two of the biggest newspapers in France (L’Équipe and Le Journal du Dimanche) and posted on the brand’s social networks that urges people to keep ordering from restaurants – including many of Burger Kings’s competitors – to get behind the “thousands of staff who really need your support at the moment”.

The add concludes: “Getting a Whopper is always best, but ordering a Big Mac is also not a bad thing.”

The ad’s the work of Burger King’s Paris agency Buzzman.
