Monday TV Wrap: Have You Been Paying Attention? ALMOST Nudges The Voice

In the battle of the oh-so-closes, 10’s Have You Been Paying Attention? almost pipped The Voice for viewers last night.

10 delivered a brutal one-two, with MasterChef posting 965,000 viewers with a further 762,000 hanging around for Have You Been Paying Attention? straight after. All numbers are OzTAM metro.

That left Nine’s The Voice with 789,000, while Seven’s Big Brother could only manage 664,000.

When it was all said and done, Nine won Monday with 27.9 per cent audience share (all channels). Seven did 24.7 per cent, 10 had 21.9 per cent, the ABC pulled 71.5 per cent and SBS did a neat eight per cent.

In the battle of the news bulletins, Seven mustered an impressive 1.23 million. Nine’s 6pm bulletin did 1.129 million. ACA had 975,000.

Other highlights for Seven were The Chase (700,000) and Home And Away (639,000). Nine’s Hot Seat did 636,000.

10’s other standouts were The Project (593,000) and 10 News First (431,000).

The ABC’s evening ran thus: 7pm news (810,000, 7.30 (652,000), Back Roads (591,000), Four Corners (487,000) and Media Watch (479,000).
