Shocking Model Reveals How 20 Years Of Gaming Could Damage The Body

Video games might seem like a pretty good way to pass the time during this current state of social isolation.

However, a newly released model highlighting the physical changes an avid gamer could undergo might be enough to put off even the most addicted gamer.

Dubbed ‘Michael’, the model depicts the toll 20 years of gaming could have on the body.

And it isn’t pretty.

Physical damages include a hunched back from poor posture, and dark circles under his bloodshot eyes from sleep deprivation and excessive screen time.

‘Michael’ also has pale skin from a lack of sunlight exposure and is obese from not exercising.

The model comes courtesy of OnlineCasino.ca, which has conducted a study into the physical impact of gaming.

“We at OnlineCasino.ca conducted a study and predicted how avid gamers could look in the next 20 years if they didn’t change their lifestyle habits,” the company said.

“From sleep deprivation and dehydration, to lack of vitamin D, digital eye strain and ‘playstation thumb’ – these are just some of the physical implications of spending hours online, in a gaming chair, away from sunlight and physical activity.”

It comes following news the World Health Organisation has officially recognised ‘gaming addiction’ as an official disorder.
