The Internet Isn’t Happy With Kimmy K After She Used COVID-19 To Spruik Her Own Wares

Kim Kardashian-West is in trouble with the internet after seemingly using the coronavirus crisis to spruik her clothing brand, SKIMS.

On Monday, the reality star and wife of singer Kayne West took to Instagram and Twitter to inform her followers of her plan to donate money to a relief fund created by Baby2Baby, nonprofit providing essentials to children living in poverty in LA.

What upset fans, however, wasn’t the fact she was donating money to a charitable cause, but rather how she went about it.

Essentially, 20 per cent of proceeds from SKIMS purchases will be donated to the emergency response program.

The internet slammed Kardashian, asking why she couldn’t donate the money from her tidy net worth of around $US350m.

And we have to say, they’re not wrong.
