Doritos & PHD Launch ‘Snacks & Tracks’ Campaign

Doritos is rollin’ out new food truck-inspired snacks to the Australian public and in collaboration with media agency PHD, has created a comprehensive 360 campaign to support the exciting launch.

The campaign will feature ‘stop & stare’ OOH placements including a food-truck-themed double decker bus and bus stop takeover in partnership with oOh! in Newtown. Along with placements aiming to deliver deeper level of engagement, in both the ‘physical word’ connecting with ‘feet on the street’ through Street Furniture JCD placements in high footfall locations and the ‘digital world’ through an interactive gaming mobile unit.

To connect even further with their core ‘Young & Hungry’ consumer, Doritos will also partner with Junkee to fuse music, delicious food & pop culture for their inaugural ‘Snacks & Tracks’ event. The event will be headlined by one of the biggest names in local music in Lime Cordiale, whilst local restaurants in Butter, Ume Burger & Grumpy Doughnuts will crush attendee’s cravings with Doritos-inspired dishes.

The ticketed event will be held in Sydney at Freda’s in Chippendale on the 4th April, and will be supported by a competition which will award one lucky winner with a VIP experience to the event, including flights and an all-inclusive hotel stay.

Dorito’s Brand Manager, Eric Burke added “We’re excited for the opportunity to delight Australian’s tastebuds with our NEW Food Truck Classics Range. In addition to delivering great tasting snacks to consumers, we’ve enjoyed working with our agency and publisher partners to launch both ‘new & unique’ and ‘tried & tested’ media placements to connect with our audience across multiple touchpoints”

Anelida Pardini, Group Business Director said “The NEW Doritos Food Trucks Classic Range campaign has been the result of a wonderful partnership with our client and our media & creative agency partners.  We are proud to collaborate to connect with the ‘Young & Hungry’ audience to bring the spirit of the food truck flavours to life in relevant ways.”
