Australian Women’s Weekly Collabs With Cadbury To Recreate Iconic Children’s Birthday Cake Book

Forty years since it was first launched, The Australian Women’s Weekly has recreated its famous 1980s Children’s Birthday Cake Book in collaboration with another iconic brand Cadbury.

First published in 1980, The Australian Women’s Weekly Children’s Birthday Cake Book has sold more than half a million copies worldwide. The recreation with Cadbury will spark nostalgia for those who over the decades have fond memories of the creative cakes and inspire a new generation of birthday bakers.

Sally Eagle, General Manager of Publishing at Bauer Media, says the collaboration with Cadbury was a perfect match.

“Bauer is delighted to have joined forces with Cadbury on one of Australia’s most recognisable cake books. We remain committed to evolving our brands and the way we connect with our audiences. The collaboration of two incredible brands, both with such strong heritage, was a perfect match and we are equally delighted with the book.”

Paul Chatfield, Marketing Director of Chocolate – Cadbury ANZ echoed Bauer’s sentiment.

“Cadbury is thrilled to partner with The Australian Women’s Weekly on the Cadbury Children’s Birthday Cake Book. This partnership, with two of Australia’s iconic brands, will introduce a new generation to a range of delicious and delightful birthday cakes.”

The Cadbury Birthday Cake Book will be available as a gift with purchase in Coles supermarkets throughout Australia from February 12th until March 10th 2020, while stocks last. Once the supermarket gift campaign is completed, the Birthday Cake Book will be available for purchase from newsagents.
