Thursday TV Wrap: Gogglebox & The Bachelorette Hand 10 A Stellar Evening

A triumphant 10 stormed into second spot in last night’s audience share thanks to the tried-and-true Googlebox once again bringing home the viewer bacon.

People watching people watching TV was the most watched entertainment show of the evening, posting 794,000 according to OzTAM metro numbers.

10’s The Bachelorette also did well with 694,000 and was the evening’s second most watched entertainment show and sixth overall.

Seven won the night with a neat 29 per cent of all the audience eyeballs (all channels). 10 pinched second and 23.3 per cent, Nine had to settle for third and 23 per cent, the ABC did 17.4 per cent and SBS had 7.2 per cent.

Seven won the night by not doing too much at all. Its 6pm news was the most watched show of the evening with 879,000, Home And Away did 513,000, The Chase had 508,000 and Wonder Woman posted 317,000.

Nine’s best was its 6pm news (761,000), ACA (639,000), RBT (473,000) and Hot Seat (413,000).

The ABC’s Thursday ran this way: 7pm news (627,000), 7.30 (460,000), Escape From The City (403,000) and a repeat of Vera (299,000).
