Rebel Wilson Calls Bullsh*t On Casual Dating In Hysterical Match Ads Via 72andSunny LA

Aussie comedian Rebel Wilson has teamed up with online dating service Match to call bullshit on casual dating in a hysterical series of ads via creative agency 72andSunny LA.

Titled ‘Let’s Make Love’, the hilarious series takes a truthful approach, calling out the online dating for what it often is: bullshit.

As the face of the campaign, Rebel Wilson acts as the host of a podcast, hilariously discussing what it’s really like to find love online – the disappointment, the overly-casual attitudes, the unsolicited dick pic, and of course, ghosting.

She said: “People are getting ghosted and zombied and mermaided,” she said.

“You know what gets us ready to really make love? Feeling some feelings.”

The campaign aims to bring emotional intimacy and vulnerability to the head of the discussion, yet with a cheeky and fun spin.

72andSunny Los Angeles creative director Adam Szajgin said: “People are ready to make love, but like, actual love.

“We just needed a way to talk about this timeless topic that wasn’t cheesy or sappy.”

Match CMO Ayesha Gilarde said: “We are excited to give a voice to the challenges daters face today in a fun and relatable way all the while encouraging singles to get out there and make some love.”
