2019 Logie Nominees Revealed; Amanda Keller, Waleed Aly & Tom Gleeson Head Gold List
Bauer Media has revealed the six finalists for the Most Popular Television Commercial category ahead of the event on 30 June.
The public was invited to vote on their favourite ad of the year, after a judging panel revealed its shortlist of 12 commercials.
Tourism Australia, Westpac, Invictus Games, KFC, Aldi and Berlei have all been revealed as finalists.
TV WEEK editor Thomas Woodgate said: “The Most Popular Television Commercial category received an overwhelming number of votes in its very first year and we are thrilled to unveil Australia’s favourite TV ads.
“It’s great to see how passionate and highly engaged our audiences are about TV commercials.
“We are extremely proud to give them the opportunity to make their voices heard on what their favourite ads are and give Australia’s creative agencies the recognition they deserve.”
In the other categories, television personalities Amanda Keller, Tom Gleeson and Waleed Aly have all been announced as finalists for this year’s Gold Logie, as well as actors Rodger Corser and Eve Morey, Gardening Australia host Costa Georgiadis, and Sunrise weather presenter Sam Mac.
