Slightly Twatish Swan The Star Of Glorious Animated Gin Ad

London’s Sipsmith Gin has used stop-motion animation to bring its signature ‘Swan’ branding to life.

The upmarket tipple (which retails for $80 a bottle in Australia) is using an animated, talking bird – known as Mr Swan – in a witty campaign that extrapolates on the people and processes that go into making its tasty product.

The work of Ogilvy UK, the campaign will run across TV, cinema and social media.

Commenting on the work, Sipsmith’s global marketing director Kate Moorcroft said: “We are delighted to bring the Sipsmith story to our audience, in this way for the first time, through the wonderful world of Mr Swan.

“Stop motion animation felt like the perfect way to tell the Sipsmith story as the skilled craftsmanship behind the creation of the film (with no detail overlooked, however small) resonated with our commitment to handcrafting Sipsmith Gin, making sure no corners are cut and no compromises are made,” she said.
