Hotwire Appoints Louise Morrisey To Lead Content Unit

Hotwire has announced the appointment of Louise Morrisey to lead content unit, following growing demand from Hotwire Australia’s clientele of innovative and tech-driven brands.

This announcement follows the recent appointment of Catherine Arnott as associate director at Hotwire Australia, as well as Hotwire’s media training for diversity initiative launched to support the tech industry in promoting more female role models across the sector.

The content unit will work in tandem with media relations, corporate profiling, and thought leadership experts across the team, offering clients a truly integrated approach to their end-to-end communications programs.

Hotwire Australia MD Mylan Vu commented: “While media relations remains a core part of our traditional services offering, clients are increasingly turning to us as their communications partner to develop content that helps them genuinely connect and engage with their target audiences.

“There’s so much noise in online and social media, and the content unit is highly experienced in developing strategies to not only break through that noise but also drive tangible business outcomes”.

Morrisey, who has been with Hotwire for over four years, says she is motivated by the growing impetus to ensure content is utilised by businesses to its full potential.

Morrisey said: “There’s so much content out there! But people are reading it and want more of it—so businesses need to ensure it is quality—and that content always answers a question and solves a problem.

“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to lead the content unit and iterate it in accordance with our clients’ evolving and varied content marketing needs”.

Luke Ireland also recently joined the content unit as an associate content executive, delivering a range of design, video, and branding services to organisations across the consumer, B2B, technology and corporate sectors.
