Eat A Burger King Burger & Win $37,000 Claims Painfully Dull Ad

In recent times, Burger King has quite rightly claimed the title as one of the most innovative and savvy brands on the planet; its blockbuster TVCs and social media campaigns regularly winning awards wherever they appear.

Which makes its latest campaign out of the UK all the more interesting, primarily because it’s just so dull.

The ad stars newly-installed Burger King UK CEO Alasdair Murdoch who, quite wonderfully, admits that the burger chain’s chicken offerings had typically been dreadful and, to entice customers to its new Crispy Chicken Burger, is offering anyone brave enough to eat one a cool £20,000 ($A37,000).

The ad’s the work of creative agency BBH and it’s clear the money they saved making it could be put towards the inviting bounty for anyone brave enough to take on its poultry offerings. Check out Mr Murdoch’s rather deadpan delivery below:
