Sefiani Changes Up Leadership Structure

Sefiani Communications Group has announced its founder and managing director Robyn Sefiani will move to the new role of executive chairman and senior reputation counsel.

In her new role, Sefiani (pictured above, right) will focus on expanding the group’s position in reputation, issues and crisis management, while continuing to spearhead its strategic growth plan.

She will stay closely involved with clients, manage global affiliate relationships for business development, expand Sefiani’s senior advisory panel, and mentor colleagues.

Justin Clark (pictured above, left) has been named managing director of the group, which comprises corporate and financial agency Sefiani and consumer and challenger brand agency Kite.

Commenting on the changes, Sefiani said: “We have big plans ahead as Sefiani enters its twentieth year of successful operations and the time is right for this seamless evolution of leadership.

“I’m thrilled to be passing the MD baton to Justin, who is a motivating leader and a skilled, strategic communicator.

“Sefiani directors Nick Owens, Sarah Craig and I look forward to working closely with Justin and our senior leadership team as we continue to broaden and deepen our service offering to help clients solve business challenges and seize opportunities in both corporate and consumer sectors.”

As managing director, Clark will lead agency operations and development of innovative services, partnerships and speciality practice areas. He will also continue to lead Sefiani’s financial and government practice.

“I’m excited to be taking on the role of managing director for Sefiani and continue the incredible work Robyn has done, building a firm with one of the finest reputations in the industry,” Clark said.

“Having led communications teams and consultancies internationally, I am confident we have the people, strategy and constantly evolving services – particularly those harnessing social and digital strategies – to keep clients at the forefront of their sectors in a rapidly changing communications landscape.”
