Former Carsales & News Corp Sales Manager Joins CarAdvice

CarAdvice.com has announced the appointment of Stuart Parker as its new national sales director.

Parker (pictured above) brings a wealth of relevant experience to the role, having spent the last three-and-a-half years as head of agency sales at Carsales.

Prior to this, he spent nine years in sales at News Corp, which included the role of group sales manager, representing all major brands across digital and print.

Parker has been tasked with driving sales growth for CarAdvice by working directly with the media agencies representing all major car brands.

CarAdvice CEO and managing director and CEO Andrew Beecher said: “We are delighted to have another former CarSales manager join the CarAdvice team.

“It’s a business I know first-hand and they have helped define the market for automotive advertisers in Australia. Stuart brings a wealth of experience to our team and is a welcome addition as we strive to deliver the best non-classified advertising solutions.”

CarAdvice commercial director Christian Clark added: “We conducted an extensive search for this role and the name that kept coming up was Stuart’s. He’s built a solid reputation in the industry and has strong relationships with key agencies.

“In a highly competitive market such as ours, Stuart’s experience will be a valuable asset for CarAdvice and our clients.

Commenting on his new role, Parker said: “CarAdvice has a long heritage of producing market-leading, independent automotive content which empowers consumers throughout the auto path to purchase.

“Having long admired CarAdvice, I’m thrilled to be joining the team and having a direct contribution to develop further opportunities, and create deeper connections between our commercial partners and our highly engaged audience.”

Parker has already started in the role and is based in the Sydney office for CarAdvice.
