DEC PR Wins Hisense Account

Electronics and whitegoods specialist Hisense has announced it has appointed DEC PR to lead its strategic communications remit in the local market, following a competitive tender process.

DEC PR will work to support its brand building activities and managing corporate communications. The agency’s work will integrate closely with Hisense’s other marketing partners.

Andre Iannuzzi, marketing director at Hisense, said: “We’re delighted to partner with DEC PR as we prepare to enter 2018. It will be a big year for our brand, kicking off with CES in January as well as activating a global sponsorship of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

“Our team was impressed with DEC PR’s corporate and consumer skill set, as well as the team’s creative thinking, which aligns closely with our plans in the local market.”

DEC PR chief executive Michael Henderson said: “Hisense offers Australians high-quality, competitive products in the electronics and whitegoods segments.

“The brand has made strong inroads in the Australian market, established a strong reputation among consumers and the industry, and we look forward to building on this momentum.”

DEC PR will commence work on the Hisense account immediately.
