B&T 30 Under 30 Finalists Launch Free Advertising Course Via Facebook Bot

Leo Burnett Sydney’s Samantha Cable and R/GA Sydney’s Kostia Liakhov – both finalists at this year’s B&T 30 Under 30 Awards – have teamed up with Kate Harrison (R/GA Sydney) and Daniel Liakh (BBH London) to create a free online advertising course built completely within the walls of Facebook Messenger.

Bot Ad School (BAS) leads students through seven tailored chapters based on their skill set and geographical region.

Designed to be a stepping-stone into the industry, BAS leverages the knowledge of award-winning, international creatives and deliveries it directly to your smartphone.

Key learnings include portfolio building and website construction, a crash course in student awards, and how to make the most of an internship.

BAS is personalised for Australian, New Zealand, British, European, Asian, American and Canadian markets.

Liakhov said: “To make BAS, we used the wisdom and expertise of creatives from all over the world.

“From an ECD in South Korea to an ad school founder in Germany, we distilled the knowledge to create the best, personalised experience for our users – no matter what continent they want to work in,” she said.

Cable said: “BAS was build to make the industry more accessible for younger creatives living in regional areas or those who may not have the opportunity to go to ad school.”

Students are being invited to trial the free course.
