Bohemia Loses Pandora Media Account To Carat

Music streaming platform Pandora has announced the appointment of Carat to manage its media strategy, planning and buying across Australia and New Zealand.

Pandora appointed Carat following a competitive pitch with five agencies that included incumbent Bohemia.

Pandora group marketing director ANZ Sally Kiernan said: “A key priority for our media agency partner is to devise a strategy and planning approach that fuels our next phase of growth across Australia and New Zealand.

“Carat is a high calibre agency that demonstrated passion for our brand and business, they’re the right fit to work alongside us as we realise our growth ambitions across these two key markets.”

Carat’s CEO Paul Brooks said: “There was a great synergy between our two teams from the first time we presented to Pandora, so we’re thrilled to be working with the team to continue building the brand and business and to be part of Pandora’s ambitions in this region.”

Carat will take over from Bohemia, who has worked with Pandora for the past couple of years. Kiernan added: “We’ve enjoyed some great successes with the team at Bohemia and I want to thank them for their hard work. We wish them well.”
