CX Agency Lavender Lures Nick Andrews To Senior Strategy Role

CX agency Lavender has bolstered its senior team with the appointment of Nick Andrews as Strategy Partner.

Andrews (pictured) was most recently Planning Partner at DDB Group, where he spent close to nine years working on blue-chip brands such as Volkswagen, Audi, Westpac, Arnott’s, Dell, McDonald’s, Tourism Australia and Unilever.

His multi-disciplinary experience, including brand positioning, product development, media planning, customer experience and digital marketing, further strengthens Lavender’s CX capabilities and overall objective to deliver transformative CX for its clients. He will also play a central role in Lavender’s recently launched consulting arm, Lavender Consult.

Among his extensive achievements, Andrews played a key role in DDB’s brand redesign and repositioning of Westpac since 2012, building the profile of travel website Expedia in Australia and in growing Volkswagen’s market share of the Australian automotive market. He commences his role at Lavender on Monday 28 November.

Lavender CEO Roy Capon said, “Nick’s unique mix of media and brand strategy expertise, coupled with the tenacity to find deep customer insights, is a potent combination of skills that will greatly benefit our clients while also helping to establish our Lavender Consult offering.

“I look forward to him joining the expanding team as Lavender embarks on its next stage of growth.”

Nick Andrews added, “Everyone you speak to has really nice things to say about Lavender and after meeting Roy and Will Lavender, I was instantly attracted to the culture of the agency.

“Having spent most of my career with multinationals, joining a nimble independent agency that has big ambitions and a unique perspective is very exciting. I can’t wait to get in there and make a difference.”

Andrews’ appointment follows the recent hire of Eric Folger as head of experience design.
