The B&T Awards! All The Winners Announced! As Atomic 212° Takes Home Agency Of The Year!
The industry’s night of nights – the dazzling B&T Awards – has been run and won with Sydney-based full-service agency Atomic 212° taking the top prize of the night as B&T’s Agency of the Year. While Carat carried-off the prize for People’s Choice (see full list of winners below).
Friday night saw Sydney’s Town Hall packed to bursting with over 800 of media and marketing’s glitterati attending the 11th annual running of the B&T Awards, all dutifully and hilariously compered by The Chaser’s Chris Taylor and Craig Reucassel.
And if you’re after the photos from the evening, you’ll find the winners here, media wall shots here, some more social photos pre-ceremony here, awards ceremony candids here AND after party photos right here.
With a record number of entires – some 450 whittled to the 34 categories – the judging was extensive, gruelling and got underway many months ago.
In his opening address, B&T’s editor in chief, David Hovenden, told the particularly boisterous and exuberant crowd: “This year, we’ve had record number of entries and as such there will be a record number of winners. Agencies, campaigns and people who didn’t make the shortlist were amazing. So if you’re in this room tonight as someone on one of those shortlists known that you’re pretty bloody awesome already.
“During the live judging day, I had the very great privilege of hosting the panel for Advertising Agency of the Year and Victorian Agency of the Year. Can I just say I am very glad I wasn’t the one making the decisions on separating these amazingly talented outfits.
“Speaking of judges, the women and men who made up our panel have once again done a magnificent job. There were 110 of them in total, representing marketers and executives including some of Australia’s very top brands. We were also sure to make sure we had a many women as men on the panel,” Hovenden said.
B&T would like to congratulate all of this year’s winners, everybody who entered, thank all our judges and, of course, our very, very generous sponsors.
