Drones Take To The Skies To Heckle Passing Motorists With Ads

According to an article on Futurism.com, the drones fly above drivers sitting in traffic jams with messages such as “Driving by yourself?” and “This is why you can never see the volcanoes” (an apparent reference to all the car exhaust smog that blocks out the nearby landscape.

Uber’s intent is clearly to get more locals to carpool but also comes with an environmental message that carpooling means less cars on the road and less exhaust fumes. Mexico City has close to 22 million residents and its traffic congestion problems plagues the city.
