Instagram Announces 60 Second Video Ads With T-Mobile’s Super Bowl Ad

photo and video-sharing network Instagram has announced it’s rolling out 60-second video ads on the platform, doubling the previous 30 second limit. The first ad is T-Mobile’s Super Bowl commercial featuring Drake dancing to his tune Hotline Bling.

A representative from Instagram (which is owned by Facebook)told SocialTimes: “We recognize that advertisers have a variety of creative resources and want to bring more choice to help them reach their business goals.

“Instagram allows brands to amplify campaigns and build anticipation heading into key moments in time, such as this weekend’s big game or a highly anticipated movie premiere.”

Some advertisers have already jumped on the format, including T-Mobile, which posted the below clip featuring performer Drake. Warner Bros. is reportedly prepping something as well, possibly related to the two up-and-coming films Suicide Squad and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
