The Revenant VR Campaign Immerses You Into Hugh Glass’ Quest For Survival

An immersive virtual reality experience has been launched for the release of The Revenant, the website transports viewers to the unforgiving journey 19th-century frontiersman Hugh Glass (played by leonardo dicaprio) traveled during his 200-mile trek for survival.

The Alejandro Iñárritu’s film tells the story of 19th-century frontiersman Hugh Glass’ quest for survival after being brutally attacked by a bear and left for dead by his companions.

The film is based on the novel by Michael Punke, the film also stars Tom Hardy, Domhnall Gleeson and Will Poulter.

The 200 miles website, available on desktop and mobile, picks up right after the film’s famous scene where Glass’ is attacked by a grizzly bear. The website unfolds as you travel along Glass’ path through a series of key marker scenes on his journey.

The website is full of spoilers so be sure to check out The Revenant (released in Australia last week) first.
