Old Spice Has A New Man Who Plays Tennis On A Whale

One way of making sure you smell nice and your deodorant doesn’t run out is to play tennis on the back of a whale while being hounded by paparazzi.

At least, that’s what the new guy for Old Spice does.

Axel Kiener is the new face of Old Spice’s legendary man campaign. Along with his introduction comes two new ads for the smell company, aligning well with its bizarre and hilarious ads it became so famous for.

The first one features Kiener playing tennis on the back of a whale…

…while the second one sees the new legendary man failing to cram enough info into his brain to make his sure his rocket doesn’t blow up.

The spots were created by Widen+Kennedy in Portland US, and will feature on US television for two months.

On top of that, Old Spice has announced it’s teaming up with obstacle course Tough Mudder as its official Men’s Body Wash and Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant Partner.

We at B&T have long been fans of the Old Spice ads, so here are a couple of our favourites from the archives for your viewing pleasure.
