Putting The Soul Back Into Eureka Skydeck Online

Digital agency Soul Digital, in conjunction with Eureka Skydeck, recently launched an integrated e-commerce solution, timed with a discounted tickets promotion.

The campaign ran from 10am-10pm on May 15th and saw increase of 37,387 (+1142 per cent) of the daily average visitors. Since the new site has been launched, the site has seen a steady increase of average daily views by approximately +24.5 per cent.

Marco Rosano, managing director of Soul Digital said “This recent campaign couldn’t have come at a better time. It’s always exciting launching a new site with such a huge volume of users the day after launch. The multi-language, mobile e-commerce site was designed so that the large volume of active tourists are even able to buy tickets from your average train station wifi-hotspot.”

The Eureka Skydeck website features a customisable ticket interface, complex ticketing integration and was designed with user accessibility at the forefront. The site was launched on a scalable AWS server in preparation for the expected influx of promotional users.

Eureka Skydeck’s projects & marketing manager; Emma Cullen said “Eureka Skydeck’s redeveloped site features a responsive design and increased level of functionality that caters for global users. The Skydeck’s eighth birthday tactical promotion provided a great opportunity for us to launch; and drive significant traffic to the newly developed website. We were very happy with the huge influx of website traffic over the campaign period and without the recommended scalable server, the site would have crashed in seconds.”
