M&C Saatchi CD Paul Dunne Shifts To REBORN

independent agency REBORN has appointed former M&C Saatchi CD, Paul Dunne, as its new Creative Director.

Noel Magnus, MD of REBORN said, “Paul’s big agency background and his ability to bridge communication across all platforms makes him the perfect fit for REBORN’s continued evolution.”

“Paul brings with him impeccable creative credentials, and a real passion for the commercial success of both our clients’ business and our business”, added Magnus.

“There is so much to like about Paul’s work – highly diverse, yet absolutely consistent in its intelligent approach. He has a genuine understanding of brands and the know how to create outstanding and effective communication across the board. Paul’s regular appearances on The Project’(Channel Ten) can’t be a bad thing either.”

Dunne stated “the recent repositioning of the REBORN business from digital to full service, the exciting work the agency has underway, the calibre of recent new business wins and some terrific staff appointments sets the ideal framework for some great creative work in the days ahead. Being an agency that is heading towards a full service offering but still has its digital core is an exciting proposition and one I’m really looking forward to being a part of.”

REBORN co-founders, David Easton and Sabir Samtani added, “we set ourselves a few ambitious goals early this year, one of which was to find a talented creative leader for the business, and we’ve been able to do just that with Paul coming on board. Not only is he a highly awarded and talented creative director, but he’s also a super nice guy who will help inspire the agency to keep pushing creativity. With Noel settling in really well and now with Paul on board, the team is coming together really nicely.”

Paul started at REBORN on Monday 2nd March. He has been behind some of Australia’s most iconic work such as Qantas ‘I Still Call Australia Home’ and ‘City Flyer’, Optus ‘Clever Buoy’, Arnott’s Shapes and American Express ‘Reverse Type’.
