10 commandments of Facebook

Start-up company DentalHub is challenging people to re-think their social media strategies though its ‘10 commandments of Facebook’ video campaign.

The campaign aims to get people, including health professionals, to change up their social media behaviour with co-founder and dentist Dr Steven Lin explaining the potential of social media to spread health info and education.

“The dental industry is particularly isolated from the community which decreases overall oral health awareness. E-Health is a particularly underdeveloped area in the social space – it’s time to get it up to speed,” he said.

“Social media has so much potential, we should be trying to use it as best we can to foster good conversations.  The ‘10 Commandments’ is a way to encourage discussion of how everyone can better use social media including social circles, health professionals and the wider community.”
