Weatherman Busted For Faking Battle With Wind During Hurricane Florence

The US states of North and South Carolina were smashed by Hurricane Florence over the weekend, killing five and causing widespread damage and flooding.

Despite the obvious and clear dangers of being out in such inclement weather, the ever-professional Mike Seidel from The Weather Channel began reporting live from the eye of the storm.

In his coverage, Seidel can clearly be seen battling to stand-up against the torrential rains and gale force wins. That was until eagle-eyed viewers noticed two pedestrians nonchalantly stroll passed Seidel chatting away on their mobiles.

Both Seidel and his employer, The Weather Channel, insist the weatherman wasn’t playing up for the cameras, rather he was struggling on the slippery grass while the two interlopers to the top had a far easier time on the less slippery concrete pavement. We’ll let you be the judge of that.
