Weather Report Goes Horribly Awry As Man Tumbles Into River

A floating weather map, a boisterous weather woman and an innocent bystander – what could possibly go wrong?

Well, it all did on yesterday’s weather report on the UK breakfast show This Morning.

Weather reporter Alison Hammond was attempting to navigate a floating map of the UK before her sparkly frock became entangled on a Welsh dragon. Hammond then stumbled onto a man dressed as a sailor, accidentally shoving him into Liverpool’s River Mersey.

Thankfully, the unfortunate chap could swim, however, his now very sheer white outfit was in serious jeopardy of giving morning viewers a little more than they had perhaps bargained for at that hour.

“Oh my god, get a towel!” Hammond shouted as she apologised to the drenched fellow. “I’m so embarrassed!” While host, Holly Willoughby, implored from the studio: “Just checking his trousers won’t go really really see-through any second.” Check out the unfortunate chain of events below:
