The first full length trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s western The Hateful Eight has been released, with mixed reaction from Twitter and a police boycott looming.

The trailer is very Samuel L. Jackson heavy and features a one second peek of Channing Tatum (that’s him on the far right at 1:27).

Nine US police unions are calling for people to boycott The Hateful Eight are Tarantino called cops ‘murderers’ at a Black Lives Matter rally. During the rally, Tarantino said: “I’m a human being with a conscience. And when I see murder I cannot stand by. And I have to call the murdered the murdered and I have to call the murderers the murderers.”

Since then Tarantino has been accused of being a ‘cop hater’, check out an interview with the 52 year old director on MSNBC:

Despite the controversy, Twitter has rallied against Tarantino’s next film and reaction to #HatefulEight:

The film will be premiering in 70mm on Christmas Day in limited cinemas in the States; according to IMDB Australians will have to wait until the 14th January 2016.
