In what should come as no surprise to anyone interested in TV numbers, MAFS was once again Sunday night’s standout, pulling 1.28 million viewers according to OzTAM metro numbers.

Yet, it there was a story from the night’s numbers it has to be 10’s ongoing Sunday night struggles.

Chris & Julia’s Sunday Night Takeaway could only muster 259,000, its worst numbers since it debuted three weeks ago.

Meanwhile, The Sunday Project has problems of its own, pulling just 278,000, while Hughesy We Have a Problem pulled 222,000.

Nine convincingly won the night, pulling 36.3 per cent of the audience share.

MKR (732,000) could only give Seven 27.4 per cent. The ABC was third and 18.3 per cent. That left 11.8 per cent for 10 and 6.3 per cent for SBS.

Seven’s 6pm news (875,000) got one up on Nine (807,000), while 60 Minutes (705,000) returned the favour to Sunday Night (429,000).

Nine’s Abused By My Girlfriend pulled 356,000 and Seven’s repeat of Undercurrent had just 200,000.

For the ABC, its best was its 7pm news with 640,000 and Vera with 605,000.

Over at the SBS, 204,000 tunnel enthusiasts tuned in for London’s Super Tunnel.
