Seven West Media Director Sheila McGregor Latest Exec To Resign

Seven West Media director Sheila McGregor has resigned from the board the network has announced. No reason was given for McGregor’s – a Gilbert + Tobin partner – leaving.

The resignation was announced in a short release to media yesterday afternoon. McGregor’s departure coincides with a report into the extra-marital affair of its CEO, Tim Worner, reportedly due out today.

The Australian has this morning reported that “McGregor had become increasingly concerned about the company’s corporate governance and the handling of the affair since it was made public in late December.”

Seven’s statement read in full: “Seven West Media Limited today announces that Sheila McGregor has resigned as a non- executive director of the company.

“Ms McGregor joined the Board in June 2015.

“The company thanks Ms McGregor for her service to the Board and wishes her well for the future.”
