After launching in Australia and New Zealand last month, global lifestyle marketing agency MKTG has announced five new hires and two senior promotions within its Activations team.

In Sydney, Michael Blumberg has been appointed as national strategy director, Keith Widelski as strategic planner – shopper marketing and Angelo Montelone as art director. In addition Owen Kane has joined the team as senior designer and Johnny March as finished artist.

Kylie Green, MD of Activations for MKTG, said, “The combined skills of Michael, Keith and Angelo enforces our formidable offer in the lifestyle marketing arena. We have the strongest team in terms of experience and capability, and are delighted to keep adding to this with our most recent hires.”

“Michael’s extensive background in advertising, digital and activations brings an exceptional level of overarching marketing expertise to our clients, while Keith’s specialty in strategic shopper marketing adds an unprecedented level of insights and commercial acumen to our client campaigns.

In Melbourne, MKTG has also promoted long term staff members Xavier Gregory to group account director and Emma Brosnan to account director.

Green added, “I’m so pleased to be able to announce Xavier and Emma’s promotions. Both have been members of our Melbourne team for a number of years and have steadily progressed through seniority levels and step into these integral roles.
