A year after adding media services to its Australian offering, McCann Australia has further expanded its integrated offering with the alignment of The Red Republic to the McCann Australia stable of Australian agencies.

Effective immediately, McCann will now include the social media, PR, experiential and design expertise of The Red Republic as part of the agency’s integrated offering through McCann Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast and Brisbane offices.

Founded by former journalist Fleur Madden in 2003, The Red Republic is a brand experience agency that specialises in marketing communications including public relations, events and activations, social media, digital, and design. Its client base covers a range of lifestyle industries, including travel, fashion, beauty, wellness, hospitality and property through its Sydney and Brisbane offices. Madden will continue as CEO of The Red Republic, reporting to McCann Worldgroup Australia Chairman Ben Lilley (pictured).

McCann Australia Chairman & CEO Ben Lilley said: “In 2015, we launched McCann’s national media services in response to client demand for a genuinely integrated creative offering. Now we are delighted to able to offer another key component of that integrated creative offering through the marketing communications expertise of Fleur and her team.

“Amplifying our creative reach and effectiveness through social media, PR and experiential is key to the success of every McCann campaign today. We are incredibly excited to now offer a full suite of marketing services, seamlessly integrated with our full creative, digital and media capabilities.”

Fleur Madden added: “It has been a pleasure to lead The Red Republic over the past 13 years as a successful independent agency. I am very proud of what we have achieved and who we are as a company. In looking at what the future held for us, it was time to take the next step as a business to realise our full potential.

“Finding a partner that could help us expand and ensure we could offer our clients an extensive suite of services, and who was also the right cultural fit was very important to me. Joining the McCann Worldgroup family is a tremendous opportunity for The Red Republic and we are thrilled to be part of a strong global network. This takes us up to a whole new level as a business and I look forward to bringing greater strategic and creative firepower to our clients, existing and new, through this partnership.”

Remember the old Palmolive soap ad that asked, "Don't wait to be told"? This is sort of similar, albeit sans any suds.
