It’s Cornwell’s Caroline Laws Who Sneezes Like A Cat!

For today’s industry profiles we got some idea behind Caroline Laws’, creative services director at brand agency Cornwell, background and her bordering on obsessive obsession with blue brie.

What’s your backstory? (The non-LinkedIn one) 

Dual nationality, NZ born and spent 10 years in London travelling and working. Moved to Melbourne after a friend spoke highly of its merits, otherwise I would be in Sydney right now. I was a production manager in NZ and went to many LOTR  (Lord of the Rings) after parties. I used to see the entire cast in my local café and it was weird seeing Viggo in person just talking to another actor by my table whilst I’m eating lunch and that’s when I realised… they’re actually human.

If you weren’t doing this job, what would you be doing? 

Eating brie and drinking coffee.

What’s your proudest career moment to date? 

Being at Cornwell.

Who’s your industry hero? 

Ask me in 10 years.

What makes good leadership? 

Humour and communication.

Where do you see yourself in ten years? 

Being Prime Minister for a week.

What’s  been your most challenging career moment? 

Being married to my career.

What would you change about the industry? 

Actually being married to my widowed husband. Ive decided Ive got work polygamy instead.

What’s piece of advice you’d give your younger self? 

Give up dairy sooner but that damn blue brie…

I sneeze like a cat

I sneeze like a cat

If you could be Prime Minister for a week, what would you do? 

Make sure the previous Prime Minister couldn’t get back in…. (News just in! It has finally changed!), I would also like to be able to vote.

What’s your favourite kind of cheese? 

Blue brie.
