Hooray! Kristina Keneally To Headline Women In Media Awards!

Stop the presses! B&T is delighted to announce that the former premier of New South Wales and multi-talented wonder woman Kristina Keneally will deliver the keynote address at the Women In Media Awards 2017.

Keneally was the 42nd premier of NSW and the first woman to hold the office (from 2009 to 2011). She has since evolved from politician into a renowned and widely-respected journalist and news pundit.

Keneally currently works as an anchor at Sky News Australia, where she co-hosts the daily lunchtime show To the Point, a political commentary program, as well as being a regular contributor to Sky’s coverage of major global events.

Keneally was also part of the team that won a Walkley Award and a Logie for its live coverage of the Australian federal election in 2016.

But that’s not all. Keneally writes a weekly column for The Guardian Australia, canvassing domestic and international politics as well as politico-social issues and debates such as marriage equality and asylum seekers.

She is one of Australia’s most recognised female role models not only for her achievements, but her dedication to empowering women to work hard to achieve the most from their careers. With her diverse talent and incredible drive, she is an inspiration for women everywhere.

Last year she brought the house down as keynote speaker for B&T‘s sister event, Women in Travel, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her back on board this year as a keynote speaker.

You won’t want to miss this year’s Women in Media gala event, so to grab your tickets at a low, low early bird price, click here.
