Damon Scarr departs Yahoo!7 for Adobe post

Adobe has poached Yahoo!7 commercial director Damon Scarr to take up its newly created position of director, partners, Asia Pacific.

Scarr (pictured), who has been with Yahoo!7 since  its inception, will help Adobe to engage with digital partners and agencies to drive customer engagement of its Marketing Cloud.

As commercial director at Yahoo!7 Scarr was responsible for the company’s advertising sales strategy, operational execution, and client and agency relationships. He also managed sales teams across the display, search, listings and comparison affiliate businesses within Australia and New Zealand.

Adobe’s managing director for Australia and New Zealand, Paul Robson, said: “Mr Scarr will be a valuable addition to the Adobe executive team at a time where Adobe is experiencing sustained growth across the Asia Pacific region.

We are very excited to have an executive of Damon’s calibre join the Adobe team. Adobe is changing the world through digital experiences and Damon will be a key member of the leadership team responsible for delivering marketing cloud solutions via our partners across Asia."
