Condé Nast To Launch Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop Magazine

Former actress, Academy Award winner and now wellness advocate, Gwyneth Paltrow, is set to have her lifestyle brand Goop turned into a quarterly magazine by publisher Condé Nast.

The magazine’s focus will be on wellness, health, clean eating and the usual fashion and beauty, and all with Paltrow’s famed quirky twist that regularly bemuse health professionals.

Paltrow launched the Goop brand back in 2008 and it has always had a email newsletter for subscribers.

Condé Nast – publishers of the likes of Vogue, Vanity Fair and The New Yorker – has announced that Gloop will have its own website and the print edition. The publisher had a female health title, Self, however, it closed it in December last year.

Famed Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour said of the launch of Goop: “I’ve long known Gwyneth to have wonderful taste and vision – but with Goop she has built something remarkable, a thoroughly modern take on how we live today.”

While Paltrow said in a statement: “Goop’s emergence into a physical entity was an opportunity for us to push our boundaries visually and deliver Goop’s point of view to consumers in new, dynamic ways.”
