Cameraman for ABC’s Insiders “Doing Fine” After Collapsing During Bill Shorten Interview

An ABC Insiders Cameraman has Fainted during a live interview between Barrie Cassidy and Bill Shorten.

The camera operator is “doing fine” after collapsing during a live interview with Bill Shorten.

Vision of the interview, which aired live during the show on Sunday morning, showed the camera slowly moving away from Mr Shorten before the sound of a crash.

Floor staff ran to assist the cameraman as Barrie Cassidy cut to a package.

Insiders executive producer Samuel Clark tweeted the cameraman was “on his feet and chatting to paramedics” after the incident.

Mr Shorten tweeted he had since spoken to the camera operator “and he is doing fine”.
