Awkward! KIIS And Nova Rivals Run Almost Identical Pranks With Guy Sebastian

As many a business with a competitor will know, there’s nothing worse than having the same idea as your rival, then looking like one has copied the other. So this overlap from Nova and KISS is a little awkward, to say the least.

Both KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O and Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa shows interviewed Guy Sebastian, and ran pranks of very similar nature.

Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitgerald and Michael ‘Wippa’ had an actor posing as a driver (with an earpiece in his ear so the pair could tell him what to do) pick up Sebastian in a car, and basically give him the car ride from hell.

Starting with the moderate ‘How’s your day going?’ it only got worse from there, as the driver ‘mixed up’ Sebastian with Stan Walker and belted out Bohemian Rhapsody.

Meanwhile, as part of their ‘Double Dare’ segment, Kyle & Jackie O got Sebastian to be the prankster, giving him an earpiece and telling him what to do as he drove through a McDonalds drive through.

The singer was forced to repeatedly start singing “Angels Brought Me Here” and beg the staff to let him have his meal for free, before asking a female staffer if she wanted him to take his shirt off so she could perve on his abs.

Oh well, at least both Nova and KISS know there’s no rival moles in their businesses.
