Nine wins with 60 Minutes

Nine won Sunday night’s ratings with 60 Minutes as its special Summer with The Australian Women’s Weekly came second in its timeslot.

60 Minutes was last night’s most watched show with 1.196 million viewers, according to OzTam’s preliminary metro ratings.

Nine’s special Summer with The Australian Women’s Weekly (772,000) came second at 6.30pm behind Seven’s Border Security (1.034 million).

Nine won the night overall with a total 31.5% share of all free-to-air viewers. The network’s primary channel won 21.8%, beating Seven’s combined 30.6% and 21.7% for its main channel.

Seven won the battle for news viewers with Seven News in second place with 1.097 million viewers

Seven won 6.30pm but then Coastwatch (803,000) lost to ABC News (883,000) at 7pm.

Ten’s most watched show was movie The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Coming in at 15th it pulled in 437,000 viewers to Ten.

Ten had a combined FTA viewer share of 16.9% with 11.6% for its main channel. The commercial network outperformed the ABC which won a total 15.2% with 10.5% for its primary channel.

SBS was left with a total 5.8% and 4.7% for SBS ONE.
