UMM Appoints New Head Of Public Relations

UMM agency, based in inner city Sydney, has signed on Myka Hoffman to the role of head of public relations. UMM offers services specialising in creative, social media and PR.

Joint managing directors, Nikki Stevens and Benoit Thorp, appointed Hoffman off the back of the departure of Angela Yalda, who is stepping away from the role to have her first baby.

“UMM are thrilled to have Myka on-board to join a strong management team of professionals and experts in their various fields. It was highly important for us to find the right person who had the demonstrated knowledge and experience across all facets of PR including digital media,” Stevens said.

“We are a fully integrated communications agency and all of our department heads collaborate to form tightly constructed integrated campaigns, so we are excited for Myka to bring something new again to the team,” Thorp added.

Speaking on her appointment, Hoffman said, “I’m so excited to be joining the team at UMM. The agency attracts such a diverse range of clients across tech, corporate and lifestyle and there’s some truly exciting campaigns underway.”
